LTD 1984 CASHMERE SWEATER SEVE BLUE
During the 1980s, Slazenger V-neck sweaters sold in millions. The classic V-necks, known as Slazenger Courtelle, were made of 100% acrylic.
Seve Ballesteros, known for his sophisticated taste and desire for something unique, had Slazenger produce his special sweater in cashmere. The Slazenger team hand-sewed the panther logo on the chest and neck labels in the back. He could have settled for wool, but cashmere was his choice.
In honor of Seve, we are launching an exclusive cashmere sweater so you can share this unique story with your friends. Made in limited quantities, this sweater commemorates Seve’s 113th Open victory in 1984 and will be released on the 40th anniversary of this win.
This is the ultimate Seve piece, crafted together with Slazenger in the finest blend of cashmere. It's not just a sweater; it's a piece of history and a collector’s item delivered in a iconic SEVE box.
It’s possible!
The SEVE brand tells the story of Seve, dedicated to celebrating the legacy of the world's most creative, exciting, and unique player that the world of golf has ever seen. This game, once described by Seve himself as 'a great and very strang egame', was mastered by Seve, an artisan of golf, who did things with his hands and a club that no other player has dared to do before or since. Seve played the game with his own mind and is forever loved for it.
